Brittany King has been an active part of the equine community for over 25 years. She began her horse journey at the age of 6 when she attended her first English riding Summer camp and fell in love with anything and everything related to horses. She began weekly riding lessons at the age of 8 out of Bryan Stables in Lithia, Florida, which led to owning and competing with her first horse, Russett. Going to the barn daily became her new normal. Cleaning stalls, scrubbing water buckets, and working the difficult ponies was how she spent the majority of her childhood. All she wanted was to be around horses!
Brittany actively participated as a member of USPC (United States Pony Club) at a young age and grew to appreciate the hard work and dedication in owning, riding and competing in the hunter/jumper industry.
Throughout college and her young adult years, Brittany spent her time working professionally at various hunter/jumper show barns throughout Tampa, Florida, learning the ins and outs of barn management and operations. She soon moved to Texas and began training and teaching lessons as her profession.
In 2020, Brittany continued her education through PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) to become certified as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning where she plans to incorporate horses with mental health therapy.
